Tim is the sole practitioner currently.
Tim graduated from the BCNO, (now known as BCOM), www.bcom.ac.uk, in 1983. After providing locum services in and around London for 5 years, Tim took up a 1 year associateship in Tauranga that lasted for 4 years before moving to Richmond and starting up the Richmond Osteopathic Clinic.
Tim has been involved over those years in various professional and regulatory organisations in the ethics and disciplinary process. Tim is currently a representative on the Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal. Tim finds it constantly rewarding to problem solve the conditions that people present with; helping turn distressing situations towards positive outcomes.
Judy has retired from clinical practice and is no longer treating patients. She has moved into a role in professional supervision.
"After much deliberation I have decided to retire from clinical practice at the end of 2019. I have enjoyed the 45 years I have spent as a healthcare worker and I will miss the interactions and relationships I have enjoyed with so many of you."
Judy qualified as a State Registered Nurse in the UK in the 1970's; working in A & E and intensive care prior to training as an osteopath. Judy graduated from the BCNO in London in 1988, moving to New Zealand in 1990.
On behalf of the Osteopathic Council, Judy has examined overseas candidates wanting to practice in New Zealand (for several years), and was an external examiner for the final clinical competency component of Unitec’s Master of Osteopathy programme in Auckland for 6 years.
